DESCRIPTION

Our accommodation is located in the village of Arcusa, one of the main centers south of Aínsa and Sobrarbe. Its situation in the Pre-Pyrenees and at the gates of the Sierra de Guara is exceptional to ride some of the most emblematic mountain bike trails of Zona Zero:

The hostel is managed by Manon and Pablo, an Erasmus couple, who met and lived for several years in Germany. After a long period of reflection and very special experiences (a journey of almost 2 years by bike!), we decided to leave our “comfort zone” to start a new life a bit more in line with our ideals.

Our challenge isn’t as simple as it could seem: we want to LIVE in a rural environment and at the same time contribute to stop the undesirable rural depopulation. Our project relies on tourism, a first step to live in the environment we want, but trying to offer a sustainable options with the environment. We aim to work on parallel projects that could offset the carbon footprint of tourism and attract people to settle in the region. Our vision is that of democratic and participative management which, thanks to a public space, like the hostel, can also become a place for the development of initiatives beneficial to the people who live here.

SERVICES

The accommodation has two dormitories of 8 people each and therefore a maximum of 16 people. There are 2 bathrooms with 2 toilets and 2 sinks respectively and a separate area with 2 showers which have just been renovated. This is a hostel suitable for small groups and which offers a comfortable and cozy atmosphere.

We offer half board (breakfast and dinner) with the option of picnic for those wishing to go on a day tour. For cyclists, we have adapted a special place to facilitate the cleaning of bikes and their storage. We also provide tools and spare parts.

In order to enhance the circular economy which allows us to minimize the environmental impact and support the development of the territory, our commitment is to work with artisans and artists in the region. We offer seasonal cuisine prepared with fresh products from the garden, mixing tradition and a touch of exoticism while remaining unpretentious. The dining room can hold up to 30 people. We also have a terrace in the shade of the pines with a splendid view of the Pyrenees.

The bar-restaurant will be open to the public year-long on weekends and every day during the high-season (Easter and summer time) offering different options for foodies.
