ARRIVAL: Puente Guargas N-260
Route along the Solana of the river Ara, the place with the greatest concentration of abandoned villages in Europe. Not only are we going to pedal, but also to travel in time imagining all these places full of people in the 50’s, with the ancient way of life from centuries ago.
At the top of the route, it is well worth visiting Cajol, the highest village in the Solana.
On the way down, the entrance to Castelar is unique, along the old herd’s path between perfectly carved stone walls of recognized archaeological beauty.
The way down by bike is a lot of fun, and the arrival at Giral is the most demanding part with several curves on rocky ground.
The grand finale is the arrival to the starting point, with a very steep slope that requires full control in the brakes.
38 % of trail. Stony ground, no mud.
All year round.
