DESCRIPTION

This is another trail on La Solana of the river Ara: an endless list of routes and experiences. We will pass by Sasé, a village that was a symbol of the neo-rural movement in the 80s and still has people living there all the year: it has resisted. Visit it properly and go back in time.

But first of all you will pass through Asín, a lively and beautiful village, and the vigilant chapel of San Mamés which controls the river Ara.

You will finally descend along an easy path to Arresa, and very close by you will see Fiscal.

If your body needs more, you can go up to Punta Corona and down following trail ZZ035, it’s an option to purge your sins.

Notes: Be careful with the national road in the first section. Is narrow.

There is a path to go down from Sasé, but it is not difficult. The variant to go up to Punta Corona is for fit people.

RECOMMENDATIONS

There is a bridge next to Morillo that cannot be crossed if the reservoir is full. It is necessary to be at least 1m below the mark of its maximum height. Visit the Romanesque church of Buil. There is a surprise inside. You can have a snack in Coscojuela or Murillo.
