DESCRIPTION

This trail will take you to a deserted and little visited area called Sobrepuerto. One of the many villages you will see is Sasa, which you can visit. It has a forest environment, with beech woods of the north sides. Bergua was uninhabited in the 70s and 80s, has reborn keeping its architecture and beauty.

All the trails are tracks except for the access to Sasa, a simple path. Be careful with the mud between Bergua and Collado Fenés, and if you see melting snow beware!

Notes: Access to Sasa is via a PR path without great difficulty, but it can also be done by track.

If you want to extend the route from Sasa, you can continue to Sta Orosia and return.

RECOMMENDATIONS

There is a bridge next to Morillo that cannot be crossed if the reservoir is full. It is necessary to be at least 1m below the mark of its maximum height. Visit the Romanesque church of Buil. There is a surprise inside. You can have a snack in Coscojuela or Murillo.
