DESCRIPTION
Pallaruelo is another area of depopulated villages in the eastern part of La Fueva. All these villages formed a manor ruled by the famous Barón de Pallaruelo, whose mansion is located in Formigales next to the church.
But before visiting these abandoned hamlets, we will pass through Troncedo, which used to be a powerful village in ancient times and has a castle that resists vertical.
We propose the descent to Caballera, a village that is on the Esera valley and recovering in recent times.
Then you will get to the rosary of ruined villages: La Torre, La Villa, Solanilla and Casa Cotón. Visit them if you have time.
The mud on these tracks is bad, so avoid heavy rain.
