DESCRIPTION

Salas is at the foot of an extraordinary balcony. Lying towards the south, like an old cat seeking the warmth of a wall.
We are going to go up to that balcony and we will look far, far away, like a cabin boy on the mainmast of the ship, which if it existed would be called “Candelera”
At our feet a sea of patchwork. The low land.
But we have to go back down from our balcony, and we will do it through some very special paths. The first more difficult, and the second…, you’ll see.
You can lengthen the route by doing the loop that we propose along the Buera path.(variant)

RECOMMENDATIONS

Visit the hermitage of La Candelera and the viewpoint of San Jorge. There are very important wine cellars nearby, such as in Salas Bajas.
